Below is a Dog Cage Sizing guide for your reference when choosing a dog cage.

As a general rule dog cages should be large enough for your dog to stand up on all fours and long enough & wide enough for them to turn around.  Also bear in mind that if you have a new puppy they will grow so unless you plan to buy a new cage you will need one that they can grow into.

Also remember that if the cage is too large then when house training your puppy they may use part of the cage as a toilet, if they dont have the space then they are unlikely to do this, you can get cage dividers to prevent this from occuring if you have a cage for them to grow into.
