Labradors are probably one the most famous and popular breeds of dog in the world. This is due to their intelligence and patience making them ideal for both family pets and working dogs.
They are used throughout the world as police dogs, rescue dogs and guide dogs.
Labradors are a close relation to newfoundland breed and where formerly known as lesser newfoundland, historically they have been used by fisherman as working dogs.
Breed standards for size:
Male: Height 56-63 cm (22-25 inch)
Female:; Height 54-60 cm (21-24 inch)
It is recommended that the labradors dog cage is 36 to 42 inch in size.
