Chihuahuas are a small companion dog, they are believed to originate from mexico from the techichi and to have bred with a small chineze dogs brought by spanish conquistadors.
It is believed the ancient Aztecs owned the dogs as a symbol of upper class.
They are territorial and protective so can be easily provocked into attacking.
Breed sizes vary but averages are 15 to 25 cm in height (6 to 10 inch) however some dogs can grow to 15 inches.
It is recommended that a chihuahuas dog cage is 20 inch.
