Boxer Dogs are a medium to large breed of dog, they where originally bred from bulldogs and pitbull mastives and where used for hunting large prey such as bears, wild boars and deer.
Today the are bred and shown all over the world and are one of the top 10 most popular dogs.
It is believed that they recieved their name of boxer because the tend to play a lot by standing on the rear legs so they look like they are boxing.
Average height 56 to 63 cm (22 to 25 inch)
It is recommended that a boxer dog cage is 36 to 42 inches in size.
